OF ALL THE CHOCOLATE PRODUCERS listed on this website,
LINDT is the one most likely to be found in a supermarket. The company dates back to 1845, which makes it one of the oldest chocolate producers in the world. One of the company's founders, Rodolphe Lindt, developed the
conching process which forms an important step in modern chocolate production. Recently,
LINDT has introduced three single-origin bars in response to the growing demand. This complements the existing range of 30%, 70%, 85%, 99% (only sold in some countries) and flavoured bars.
Availability:
LINDT chocolate is widely available in supermarkets across Europe, as well as in the US and other countries. The single origin bars however are mostly found in larger supermarkets or fine food stores.
